If you’re not receiving notifications from TrapCall—like missed call alerts, voicemail alerts, or blacklisted call warnings—don’t worry! Here are some easy steps to troubleshoot the issue and get your notifications back on track.
👉 Check Your Plan
Notifications (Push and SMS) are only available to TrapCall subscribers. If you're on the Basic plan, you'll need to upgrade to access this feature. To check your current plan, log in to your account at trapcall.com.
👉 Restart Notification Settings
Refreshing your settings can help reestablish the notification connection:
- Open the TrapCall app
- Go to Settings > Call Settings
- Toggle Use Push Notifications, Missed Call Alerts, and Blacklisted Call Alerts OFF
- Then toggle them back ON
For voicemail alerts, go to Settings > Voicemail Settings and toggle the setting there.
👉 Reinstall the App
If the issue continues:
- Uninstall the TrapCall app
- Reboot your phone
- Reinstall the app from the App Store
- Log in again and place a test call to check if notifications work properly
👉 Not Receiving SMS Notifications?
If you're missing text message alerts:

Push Notifications may be overriding SMS. Let us know and we’ll disable the “Override SMS with Push” setting for your account.

If MMS alerts aren't working, we can switch your alerts from MMS to standard SMS format instead.
