If you’re having trouble receiving voicemails or callers can’t leave you a message while using TrapCall, follow the steps below based on your carrier.
👉 For AT&T and Cricket Users
TrapCall sometimes can’t automatically recover your voicemail number from your carrier. Here’s how to fix that:
- Dial ##004# and press Call. Dismiss any notification.
- Dial #67# and press Call again. Note the voicemail number starting with
+1
(no parentheses or hyphens). - Send that number to us by replying to our latest support email
- We’ll update your account and send new programming instructions
If needed, reprogram by dialing 004*DID# (replace DID#
with the correct voicemail number) and press Call.
👉 For T-Mobile and MetroPCS Users
Use this voicemail box deposit number:
- +18056377243 (try changing the last digit to 9 if needed: +18056377249)
👉 For Verizon Users
Program your phone to forward calls to the correct voicemail access number:
- Enter your own phone number as the Voicemail Number
- If it doesn’t work, keep trying different DIDs (access numbers) until you find one that works
👉 For Sprint, US Cellular, Visible, Spectrum, and C-Spire Users
These carriers don’t allow TrapCall to forward calls to their voicemail system. Instead:
- Use TrapCall’s Hosted Voicemail, which lets you get messages directly in the app and set a custom greeting. Contact us to activate it.
👉 Using Your Carrier Voicemail
TrapCall’s voicemail offers some great features, but if you prefer your carrier’s voicemail:
- AT&T, T-Mobile, MetroPCS, Verizon, and Cricket users can continue using their carrier voicemail alongside TrapCall
👉 How to Restore Carrier Voicemail

👉 Important Notes
