👉 How to Deactivate TrapCall
If you’ve canceled your subscription or need to remove TrapCall from your phone:
- Visit www.deactivatemyphone.com
- Follow the step-by-step instructions to fully deactivate TrapCall
👉 Why am I receiving an error when trying to activate?
If dialing your activation code displays an error, it means your carrier isn’t allowing you to change your Conditional Call Forwarding. Contact your carrier’s Technical Support team and ask them to enable Conditional Call Forwarding using the correct forwarding number for your carrier:
Carrier | Support Number | Forwarding Number |
---|---|---|
AT&T | 1-800-331-0500 | +17018011262 |
T-Mobile | 1-877-746-0909 | +17326082679 |
MetroPCS | 1-888-863-8768 | +15303036234 |

Verizon | 1-800-837-4966 | +17738013928 |

Spectrum | 1-800-892-4357 | +17738013928 |
Important: Let the representative know you want to enable Conditional Call Forwarding (forward when busy, unanswered, or unreachable), not full call forwarding, which would forward all your calls.
👉 Having issues with Sprint (iOS)?
Sprint’s VoLTE (Voice over LTE) update may interfere with TrapCall’s activation. If you’re experiencing issues, try deactivating Wi-Fi Calling on your device before proceeding:
- Visit Sprint's device support page
- Select your device brand and model
- Click on Calls, then Activate Wi-Fi Calling/Calling Plus
- Follow the steps to deactivate Wi-Fi Calling
After this, re-attempt the TrapCall activation steps in the app.
👉 Pro Tip:
Once activated, remember to decline any blocked call (double-click the power button). Within seconds, TrapCall will ring you back with the Unmasked Number.
